Refunds & Buyer Protection

Last updated 9 July 2026

Marketplace orders

  • Funds are held by the platform for up to 14 days from payment.
  • Buyers can mark an order received to release funds early, or wait for auto-release.
  • Buyers can open a dispute any time before release, and for 14 days after delivery.
  • Where a dispute is upheld, refunds (full or partial) are issued from held funds; the platform fee is refunded proportionately.
  • Full details: see Buyer Protection.

Statutory rights — consumer purchases

Where you buy from a marketplace seller as a consumer, you have a 14-day right to cancel most distance purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (goods of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described). These statutory rights are not affected by our protection scheme.

Subscriptions (Properties & Directory)

  • Subscriptions are non-refundable once the current paid month has started, except where required by law.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • Where you cancel within 14 days of first taking out a paid subscription and have not yet used the paid features, contact us for a refund.

How to claim

Open a dispute from your order in the marketplace, or email hello@women4business.com for subscription queries. We respond within 5 working days.
