Seller Guide: Dropshipping on Women4Business

A step-by-step guide to using Printify, Printful or Gelato to fulfil your marketplace orders automatically. You design once, we handle the rest.

1. Create your POD account

Sign up with one (or more) provider. Design your products inside their dashboard (upload artwork, pick blanks, generate mockups) — W4B doesn't include a design tool.

  • Printify — widest catalogue; great for apparel, mugs, accessories.
  • Printful — premium quality, strong branding options.
  • Gelato — best global print network; eco-friendly; wall art & stationery.

2. Get your API credentials

PrintfulSettings → Stores → API tokens → Create private token with orders, products, sync-products scopes.
GelatoDashboard → Developer → API Keys → Create key.

Copy the token immediately — most providers only show it once.

3. Connect the provider to your W4B store

  1. Open your store settings on W4B.
  2. Scroll to the Dropshipping section.
  3. Click Connect on the provider card.
  4. Paste your access token (and Printify Shop ID if applicable).
  5. We validate it against the provider — you'll see ✅ Connected as [your shop name].

Tokens are encrypted at rest and never leave our servers.

4. Import a product

We can only see products that are published as store products in your POD provider. Saved templates/designs that haven't been published to a store won't appear.

  1. Go to Sell → New product.
  2. Toggle Print-on-demand.
  3. Pick the connected provider and browse your POD catalogue.
  4. Choose the product + variant (size/colour) to list.
  5. Set your retail price in GBP. We show the provider's base cost and your margin live.
  6. Edit the title and description, then publish.

Gelato + TikTok Shop: create a TikTok Shop store inside Gelato, publish your templates to that store, then connect the same Gelato API key to W4B. The store products will then appear in the import dialog.

Mockup images are pulled automatically — no re-uploading.

5. What happens when a buyer orders

Fully automated:

  1. Buyer pays via Stripe on W4B.
  2. Order is auto-submitted to your POD provider with the shipping address.
  3. Provider prints, packs and ships.
  4. Tracking flows back to the buyer's order page automatically.
  5. Funds are held 14 days (buyer protection), then paid out to your Stripe account.

Watch live status pills on Sell → Sales: In production → Shipped → Delivered. Use Re-sync if a status looks stale.

6. Pricing & fees to keep in mind

  • Provider cost — deducted when the order is placed.
  • W4B commission — 0%. Sellers pay a flat £2/month seller plan instead (VAT-exclusive).
  • Stripe processing — ~1.5% + 20p per transaction.

Your profit = retail price − provider cost − W4B commission − Stripe fees. Price with all three in mind.

7. Refunds & cancellations

  • Before shipping — we auto-cancel with the provider if the buyer refunds.
  • After shipping — the provider has already been paid, so a refund comes out of your held funds.

Tips for success

  • Order a sample of every product before listing — POD quality varies by blank.
  • Write your own descriptions — provider defaults are generic and hurt SEO.
  • One variant per listing for now — multi-variant support is coming.
  • Keep your provider private — buyers should see your brand, not the fulfiller.
